Youth Leadership Conference Executives
Hey guys! My name is Jana and I’m from Davis, CA. I’m super excited to be attending UCLA this fall as a Pre-Human Biology and Society major! In my free time, I enjoy living vicariously through both real and mythical creatures in books, exploring new places, eating yummy food, and hunting for the perfect stationery. I’ve been involved with Team HBV since my sophomore year of high school and I’ve loved every moment of it! I hope you guys are as excited as I am for YLC this year and I can’t wait to meet all you wonderful people!
Hi! My name is Katie Wong, and I am an incoming freshman planning to study biology and computer science at Caltech. After attending YLC in my freshmen summer, I have since been involved in Team HBV through an outreach committee, school chapter, and the HSAB. After serving as an ATL last year, I am beyond excited to be a conference assistant for this year’s YLC! Outside of Team HBV, I enjoy watching variety shows, dramas, and food videos. I also occasionally bike, bowl, kayak, and play the violin and piano in my recreational time, so feel free to start a conversation with me (about anything) during YLC! I can’t wait to spend an amazing four days with you all.
Hi all! My name is Charlie Duong and I’m a rising senior at the University of California, Santa Cruz. As a Human Biology major, I spend most of my time during the school year studying and hopefully practicing piano. That being said, my insatiable wanderlust often leads me to places far from home, where I enjoy photography. This will be my sixth year at YLC, where I will spend my time in a perpetual hurry, in a desperate attempt to preserve as many memories as possible.
